How to create a work order connected to a request?

Through requests, an organization's employees can request maintenance actions on equipment, tools or locations.
These maintenance requests, usually referred to as HelpDesk requests, allow the maintenance teams to respond to different requests by creating Corrective work orders.
To create or associate an existent work order to a request, select the option " Work | Request Management "
  1. The Request Management list is presented
  2. Select the request you wish to create or associate a work order to
  3. The creation or association of the work order window screen is presented with the following request data filled in:
    1. Description
    2. equipment/tool/location
    3. priority level
    4. Observations
  4. Configure the remaining fields
  5. Press the button "Create WO" or "Connection to an existent WO "
When creating a work order associated to request, you must consider that:
  1. If the request is classified with a downtime operation state and is or was on a downtime start state, a downtime report will be created
  2. The downtime start date will be the date of the first request state transition to a state that starts  downtime
  3. If, when creating the Work Order, the operation state and/or the option apply downtime to child is changed, the user will be notified of that change
The WO is created on the initial state. The user that made the maintenance request has access to the information of the associated WO, priority level and expected end date on the request context dashboard.

When adding a request to an existent WO, you must consider:
  1. If there is no downtime report associated to the Work Order and if the Request is classified with a downtime operation state and is or has a downtime start state, the downtime report will be created
  2. The downtime start date will be the date of the first request state transition to a state that starts the downtime
  3. If, when associating to the Work Order, the operation state and/or the option apply downtime to child is different from the Work Order, the user will be notified of that change
Only the work order with the same request asset or location are presented.
The user that made the maintenance request has access to the information of the associated WO, priority level and expected end date on the request context dashboard.
